Our plan is to develop a spa & wellness centre as part of the Hotel. The spa & wellness area will be beautifully laid out and situated on the first floor of the new section of the Hotel. Facilities for resting, relaxation and health along with a comprehensive sports club are becoming a more dominant trend within the hotel industry. The existence or non-existence of a spa center with all the necessary facilities at the Hotel will create an important distinction between our Hotel and the other hotels in and around this area as it will make our Hotel stand out from the rest.
The spa & wellness centre will be spread over two floors in the Hotel with the total area of 350m2. It will feat a glass roof pool area, 3 saunas (Finnish sauna, Infrared sauna, Traditional Alpine herb’s sauna), cold water pool (4 degrees Celsius), 2 massage rooms and ancillary rooms for the pleasure for all guests to take advantage of.
THE AREA AND ACTIVITIES:
The Hotel is located in the midst of the Austrian alps in the historic valley of Maltatal which forms part of High Tauern National Park. The area is known for the following activities:
Skiing The best skiing conditions are just a short drive away (20-45 minutes) boasting over 700km of well-maintained skiing trails such as: Katschberg, Flachau, Obertauern, Mölltaler Gletcher to name but a few. Many of these trails are hosting worldwide winter sport competitions.
Hiking From May until October, there are more than 300km of marked tracks to follow and 9 alpine cottages to visit which are situated between 1000 - 2300 meters above sea level.
Golf Golfing season is from March to November. There are 8 golf courses within a short drive away.
Other activities There are a range of other activities readily accessible from our Hotel, including mountain biking, horseback riding, mountain climbing, ice-climbing, fishing and 20km jogging/bicycle road.

Porsche Museum - where the first 19 of the icon sports cars were built.
Eselpark - discover more than 100 different animals which is perfect for kids, but also highly reco mended to adults. Artist’s town “Gmünd” with its 27 galleries and truly medieval character. Fallbach Waterfall - 80m of cascading water, instead of Nockalm Road - beautiful sceneries of one of the best know alpine roads in Austria. Kölnbreinsperre - one of the highest water electricity dams in Europe - a must see.
